How it works
From reservation to walking at home.
Every Trexo Theo is prescribed, sized to your child and delivered with training. This is the whole path, in order, so you know what happens next and who does what.
Eight steps. Three of them are yours.
Most of the path is carried by your child's therapist and our clinical team. Your part is to reserve, sign when you are ready, and train alongside your child.
Step 01
You
Reserve
A fully refundable deposit holds your place in the US build queue. When you reserve you agree to the reservation terms, the End User License Agreement and the privacy policy, and you can opt in to text updates. Nothing else is due until you sign a purchase agreement.

Your child's therapist and prescriber
Assessment and prescription
After you reserve, we email you an assessment and prescription package. Your child's physical or occupational therapist completes the assessment, including the measurements that set Theo's size, with your child wearing their usual shoes and orthotics. A clinician licensed to prescribe in your state signs the prescription. The two can happen at the same time, and you return everything through the secure link in the package or by fax.
Trexo Theo is a prescription device for patients 12 years and older with cerebral palsy. Your therapist assesses fit and safety; a physician's prescription is required. Indications and safety information.

You and Trexo
Price and purchase agreement
Once your assessment and prescription are in, we confirm price and configuration in writing and send the purchase agreement. If you have clinical questions first, we set up a call with your Trexo contact and one of our clinicians, and your child's therapist is welcome to join. If you are working with insurance or a funding source, we support that before you sign.

A Trexo Certified Trainer near you
Your Trexo Center
Training happens with a Trexo Certified Trainer: a licensed physical or occupational therapist near you whose clinic becomes your Trexo Center. If there is one already, we connect you. If not, your child's own therapist can apply to the Trexo Trainer Network and become certified, so training happens with someone who already knows your child.
Trexo Trainer NetworkStep 05
You, your Certified Trainer and Trexo
Pre-delivery check
About a month before your device ships, your therapist confirms the measurements again so the device that arrives matches your child today, not the day you reserved. You then have a short call with our customer success team to walk through delivery, training, supervision and what the first weeks look like.
Step 06
Trexo
Built and shipped
Your Trexo Theo is built for your child's size and configuration and shipped to your Trexo Center. US deliveries begin in 2027, in reservation order. Your Certified Trainer receives tracking, assembly and set-up instructions and schedules your training.
Step 07
You, your child and your Certified Trainer
Training and certification
Your Certified Trainer holds Trexo's trainer certification, including a live session with our clinical team. Trexo joins your first device set-up live, then your Certified Trainer runs the training. You complete companion certification: an online module you do at home, then hands-on sessions at the Trexo Center with your child covering the hardware, the app and supervised practice. Plan for two visits. When you are certified, the device goes home with you and your 14-day trial period begins on your start date.
Step 08
You, with Trexo behind you
Walking at home, with check-ins
We check in after the first week, the first month, and then quarterly. Size adjustments as your child grows, setting changes and refresher training run through your Trexo Center, and our US support team is on call throughout.
Good to know
Before you reserve.
It is a prescription device
Trexo Theo is FDA 510(k) cleared and indicated for patients 12 years and older with cerebral palsy. A licensed clinician decides whether it is right for your child; this website does not screen eligibility.
You are never locked in
The deposit is fully refundable until you sign a purchase agreement, and the 14-day trial period after your start date is set out in that agreement.
One point of contact
From reservation to delivery you have one Trexo contact who brings in our clinical, customer success and support teams when they are needed.
Ready to start?
A refundable reservation holds your place in the US build queue. Your child's therapist, a licensed prescriber and our clinical team take it from there.
